Effective 3 November 2026. Cardglot is an unofficial app operated by Sidebot LLC.

Card photos

When you scan, the selected photo goes to our Vercel-hosted scan service and its AI model provider to read printed card details. The service returns an identity and does not create an account or intentionally store the photo. Our infrastructure providers may process request logs under their own retention policies.

Binder data

The binder, quantity, condition and currency choice stay on your device in local storage. Deleting the app or using “Delete my binder data” removes that local copy. We do not sync it.

Purchases and analytics

Apple processes subscriptions. If analytics is enabled, anonymous app events such as a scan or trial start may be sent to PostHog. We do not send binder contents or card photos to analytics.
